Project Overview

Our design is a Compact Recycling Aluminum Can System, where it consists from three parts which are an automatic can smasher to crush the cans into small pieces, induction furnace used to melt the cans into pure aluminum, and a lift mechanism (mold) where we will save the pure aluminum bars.

Project Objectives

During the execution of the projects we have had specific and transparent objectives. These include the following:
  1. Increased pipeline carrying capacity: As the deposits are removed the volume inside the pipe increases
  2. Improved product quality: Corrosion can cause catastrophic failure with a check in corrosion such a risk is avoided
  3. Power savings by reducing pump pressure: As carrying capacity increases the pump requires less pressure to pump the fluid into the pipe
  4. Confirmation of pipe and flow integrity
  5. Live video streaming: To monitor the condition of the pipe and to make sure that the cleaning is done
  6. Remote robot control
