  • When is the PMU Library Building Open?
    The Main Library is open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 8:00a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Female Library is open from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both Libraries are closed on Friday and Saturday. Hours for both Libraries are subject to change during registration, final exams, mid-year breaks or during unforeseen emergencies.
  • Is the PMU Library open in the week-ends?
    Currently the Library is not open in the week-ends.
  • Can I download an entire book from e-Brary?
    e-Brary now offers the following two download options for offline access to e-Brary content:
    1. Create an image PDF of a specific chapter or page range.

      - Same page limits as for printing.
      - Accessible on most computers and devices, including the Kindle.
      - Additional (free) software is typically not needed.
      - Files do not expire.
    2. Download an entire document as an e-book in Adobe Digital Editions.

      - Patrons first need to install Adobe Digital Editions (free online).
      - Accessible on most computers and devices, but not the Kindle.
      - Up to 10 documents at a time per patron.
      - By default, full-document downloading is only available for multi-user documents (not single-user-only documents), but admins can override this setting.
      - Multi-user documents can be full-document downloaded for 14 days.
      - If allowed, single-user-only documents can be full-document downloaded for 7 days.

  • Can I check out books and magazines?
    Books: As long as you know your Banner ID and PIN, you may use the self-check station, or the Reference Desk, to check out books. PMU Students may check out books for 30 days.
    Magazines: Magazines and newspapers are a non-circulating item which means they may be used in the Library but may not be taken out of the Library.
  • Is training available for the Library’s electronic resources?
    Contact a librarian to arrange for personal training and/or class training.
