  • When is the PMU Library Building Open?
    The Main Library is open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 8:00a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Female Library is open from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both Libraries are closed on Friday and Saturday. Hours for both Libraries are subject to change during registration, final exams, mid-year breaks or during unforeseen emergencies.
  • Is the PMU Library open in the week-ends?
    Currently the Library is not open in the week-ends.
  • How can I access our e-resources off-campus?
    Go to Home Page Hover Resources and click e-resources When prompted, enter User ID and Password (Your user ID and Password is the same one you use to access your PMU web mail).
  • Can I book group study room online in advance?
    Yes. Reservations may be made online at studyroom.pmu.edu.sa for up to three days in advance. Students must log in with a valid PMU ID and (pmu54321) password.
  • How do I borrow and renew books?
    PMU Library have self-check machine where you can checkout books or take them to circulation desk and staff will check them out for you as long as you have your ID card. You can renew books three times. Use My Accounts to access your account. You will need your ID number and your PIN. 
  • What do I do if PMU does not have the articles I need?
    The PMU Library is currently subscribed to the British Library’s Document Supply Centre, and can provide access to articles through this service.
  • How can I get help with my research paper?
    PMU library staff are eager to assist you. You can book appointment online.
  • Can I check out books and magazines?
    Books: As long as you know your Banner ID and PIN, you may use the self-check station, or the Reference Desk, to check out books. PMU Students may check out books for 30 days.
    Magazines: Magazines and newspapers are a non-circulating item which means they may be used in the Library but may not be taken out of the Library.
  • Is training available for the Library’s electronic resources?
    Contact a librarian to arrange for personal training and/or class training.
