Dr. Nassar M. Shaikh became the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs in February 2007. As PMU's chief academic officer, Dr. Shaikh provides leadership to all the university's academic programs, fostering excellence in educational opportunities, research and community service. He works closely with the Rector, Vice Rector for Admin and Business Development, and an extensive group of campus colleagues in guiding strategic planning and policy development, in promoting campus-wide academic initiatives and maintaining international standards. He is also responsible for promoting learning enrichment environment for students.
Prior to his arrival at PMU, Dr. Shaikh was with King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where he held many positions including Director of Information Technology Center, and Dean of the College of Industrial Management |
