A message from the Dean
Welcome to the Quality Center at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU). The DQA is PMU’s premier office that leads the execution of academic and institutional effectiveness plans. As private institution with global standards, PMU has emerged to become a leading university in the Eastern Province of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our DQA is tasked to prepare and implement all strategic plans for PMU that are aimed at achieving effectiveness in all aspects of the University. The DQA provides guidance and training to our faculty and staff in the areas of and continuous improvement. PMU’s DQA ultimate objective is to serve University Colleges and Units to achieve both academic and institutional accreditation from national and international accreditation agencies. The DQA also provides assistance to all PMU units to maintain these accreditations. PMU is currently pursuing accreditation from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA), Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) USA and Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) USA. PMU DQA is active in establishing assessment instruments that are in-line with internationally accepted accreditation standards.
For our faculty and staff, PMU’s DQA is a resource that streamlines all quality assurance initiatives and outcomes. The mission and vision of PMU are the guiding principles that the DQA is established upon. In its essence, the DQA should significantly impact PMU’s quest to achieve academic and institutional effectiveness and its drive to build leaders and graduate students with world class education.
