US Ambassador To The Kingdom Visits PMU : U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom, Mr. James Oberwetter, visited PMU in October 2006. The ambassador was accompanied by a delegation of the American Embassy in Riyadh as well as the Consulate in Dhahran, Mr. John Kincannon.  PMU Rector, deans and directors welcomed the visiting delegation; they presented the university. They also explained PMU’s educational philosophy. The ambassador was escorted in a guided tour to the campus in which the various teaching styles and technologies were described. The visit also included observation of active classes.

Mr. James Oberwetter noted his thoughts in PMU Visitor’s Book, and received a present as a mark of respect from PMU.

The delegation was mostly impressed by the technologies used in the university and highly praised the cooperation between PMU and several U.S.-based American Universities.
