PMU signed a collaboration agreement with the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry in September 9, 2008. The agreement was signed by HRH Prince Turki Bin Mohammad Bin Fahd on behalf of PMU and by Mr. Abdul Rahman Bin Rashid Al Rashid, Chair of the Chamber's Board of Directors.

The agreement between PMU and the Chamber aims at collaboration in the areas of IT, R&D, academic and training programs as well as joint conferences, symposia and workshops.
