On August 31, 2008, Halliburton Energy Services and PMU signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly work at closing the gap between academia and industry to better respond to market demand for talented professionals in engineering. The memorandum of understanding was inked by Mr. Osama Kamal, Vice President, Halliburton, KSA and Bahrain; Dr. Ibrahim Palaz, Director, Strategic Educational and R&D Partnership, Halliburton; Dr. Issa Al-Ansari, Rector, PMU; and Dr. Zlatica Kraljevic, Dean of Institutional Relations, PMU.
