On July 22, 2008, PMU and Curtin University of Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote students and faculty exchange and to offer joint academic programs. The memorandum was signed by Dr. Paddy Forde, Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor International, Curtin University and Dr. Nassar Mohammad Shaikh, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, PMU.

Curtin University of Technology, based in Perth, Western Australia, is a multi-campus university founded originally in 1967 as the Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT). Courses are delivered at several campuses and education centers throughout Western Australia, campuses in Sydney and Malaysia, as well as a host of international partner institutions.
