Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: A three-day long training program was organized in Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) campus for PR persons representing various parts of the Kingdom. The key speaker and trainer of this program Dr. Abdel-Ilah Bennis, Director of Studies at Diplomatic Academy of London addressed the participants. He focused on awareness about the tips on protocol and etiquette besides expressing corporate crisis management techniques.
Dr. Bennis shared practical experiences through simulation. He emphasized on the role of communication in the present age where tools are many and passing information to millions is not big deal anymore. Choosing suitable option for communication is a must. The big challenge though, cautioned Dr. Bennis, is improper use of channels in the public relations initiatives. Protocol is pivotal for suitable corporate crisis management and it's planning so is important etiquette to pass information from one party to the other, said Dr. Bennis and appreciated PMU authorities for organizing this program in its campus.
The participants had several new things to learn from this three-day event. Advanced communication techniques were discussed in the training session. The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at PMU Dr. Nassar M. Shaikh shared dice with the distinguished guest Dr. Bennis and thanked him for his arrival and training candidates in the campus.
