With the advent of mobile computers, tablets and smartphones, there are no IT courses which are lab-less. While we have dedicated subject labs including:

• Network Management
• Network Security
• Web & E-Commerce
• General (Programming)
• General (Database)
• Web Server Management

Bearing in mind that in IT today there are hardly any courses which do not have a project/practical component, and because the vast majority of what we study does not require specialized hardware equipment, IT as a major tends to be practical hands-on based. Our lab is in our rucksack and our pocket and the tools that we use are mostly free including Microsoft Visual Studio Express, Java and Net Beans, Oracle Express, Android Development Kit and so on.
