MIS students will able to:
Describe the role and significance of effective information systems, and apply information technology knowledge to investigate, analyze and provide solutions to business problems
Assess the security of computer networks, information security, and information assurance policies
Transform organizational data into information and apply data analytic techniques to facilitate effective business decisions
Illustrate and apply the system development life cycle (SDLC) used to build information systems in an organization
Use fundamental database concepts to design and develop relational databases
Demonstrate programming skills and Web development techniques to Solve common business problems
