The world’s continuously increasing energy consumption, which causes a huge amount of pollution, has led researchers to search for more sustainable technologies. In this way, some renewable energy-based systems such as solar and wind systems are now commercialized. Among all renewables, wave energy has the highest potential in terms of energy production which makes it more interesting to study. Renewable energy is energy that is collected from renewable resources, which are naturally replenished on a human timescale, such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat. Renewable energy often provides energy in four important areas: electricity generation, air and water heating/cooling, transportation, and rural (off-grid) energy services. In specific the energy we are trying to extract will be through the wave system “power energy” and the Wave power, also called ocean wave energy, electrical energy generated by harnessing the up-and-down motion of ocean waves. Wave power is typically produced by floating platforms or buoys that rise and fall with the swells. However, wave power can be generated by exploiting the changes in air pressure occurring in wave capture chambers that face the sea or changes in wave pressure on the ocean floor.
