On September 28, 2009, a delegation from Sun Microsystems visited Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) to discuss ways to expand the partnership that exists between the two institutions. PMU and Sun Microsystems look forward to jointly work at preparing the leaders of the future, adding value to PMU’s IT infrastructure and applied curriculum.

Sun Microsystems was represented by Mr. Marc Heger, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) General Manager, and Mr. Nabeel A. Al-Shammari, KSA Eastern Province General Manager. Leading the PMU team was Dr. Nassar Shaikh, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Dr. Zlatica Kraljevic, Dean of Institutional Relations. Also present were Dr. Jamal Nayfe, Dean of College of Engineering; Dr. Hesham Magd, Acting Dean of College of Business, and Mr. Osama Al Saif, Chief Information Officer.
