On January 20, 2009, the University of Twente of Enschede, the Netherlands, and PMU signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in the further development of the institutions, especially with regard to joint academic programs and research activities. This memorandum of understanding was inked by Dr. Issa Al Ansari, PMU Rector, Dr. Zlatica Kraljevic, PMU Dean of Institutional Relations and Dr. A.H. Flierman, President of the Executive Board, University of Twente.
