Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt, on February 11, 2009. One of the objectives of this agreement  is to broaden the experience of faculty and students, providing them with opportunities for increased knowledge exchange and cultural understanding. The MOU was signed by Dr. Nassar Shaikh, PMU Vice Rector for Academic Affairs PMU (on-behalf of Dr. Issa Al-Ansari, Rector), Dr. Zlatica Kraljevic, PMU Dean of Institutional Relations, and Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of External Relations Sector for Bibliotheca Alexandrina (on-behalf of Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director Bibliotheca Alexandrina).
