Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) visited Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan to discuss opportunities for collaboration in relation to endowment funds granted to PMU in different areas of research. Waseda University was represented by its Vice President, Prof. Dr. Katsuichi Uchida, and Dr. Eng. Takahiro Ohio, Dean of International Affairs, joined by Mr. Ryuichi Munakata and Mr. Shinichi Adachi also from the International Affairs Division. Dr. Issa Al Ansari was accompanied by Dr. Nassar Shaikh, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Zlatica Kraljevic, Dean of Institutional Relations and Dr. Jamal Nayfeh, Dean of the College of Engineering.
In 2007, Waseda University celebrated the 125th anniversary of its founding by Shigenobu Okuma, scholar and government leader. Waseda is one of Japan's top private, co-educational institutions of higher learning.
