Dr. Craig Taylor, Director of Business and Community Economic Development, University of Minnesota (UMN), Minnesota, USA visited Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) on March 31st 2010 to explore opportunities for collaboration in the areas of entrepreneurship, community development, student and faculty exchange, distant learning, summer programs and other areas of mutual interest. The University of Minnesota ranks among the top 50 best universities in the USA, enrolls 65,000 students and has an endowment of over $1billion.

PMU is the first private university in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia currently enrolling over 2,000 students, with a targeted capacity of 5,500 students by 2012.
