Fig (i): SolidWorks® view of the Staircase

The staircase is solid one part made of die-cast aluminum. Rubber is fixed to the surface to reduce slippage, and yellow demarcation lines may be added to clearly indicate their edges. The steps are linked by a continuous metal wheel so they form a closed loop with each step. The front and back edges of the steps are each connected to two wheels.
