Purpose

To define the scope of procurement & services for two entities A) Taleem Charitable Foundation and B) Educational Services Co.


Statement

There are two entities involved in the management, operations and maintenance of the overall activities of PMU. This policy is to identify and segregate the responsibilities of the purchases and services between two entities enumerated in Point A and B below. 

A. Taleem Charitable Foundation is the entity which is the owner of the buildings. The scope of the foundation’s procurement and services will be as follows:

  1. Purchase and sale of land.
  2. Purchase and sale of building.
  3. Addition or extension to the land & Building.
  4. Community Services revenue and operations expenses consisting of:
  1. Continuing Education
  2. Research & Development
  3. Technical Consultation

 

B. Educational Services Co. is the operating company which manages the operations of PMU. The scope of the procurements and services of the company will be as follows:

  1. Maintenance, improvement and operation of Rented Buildings.
  2. Purchase and maintenance of Laboratory, workshop Equipments.
  3. Purchase and maintenance of Furnitures.
  4. All Expenses related to employees.
