Purpose

To declare the process of annual performance evaluation of senior administrators reporting directly to the University President.


Statement

The Performance Evaluation of Senior Administrators reporting to the President will be executed annually in relation to two responsibility areas. These are:

a.      Area of regular duties related to day-to-day work.

b.      Area of following up and implementing Strategic Initiatives related to the University 5 Years Strategic Plan and in the domain of responsibility of the Senior Administrator.


Procedure
Procedure :

a.      Area of regular duties:

1-     The Director of Human Resources will prepare reports containing information about the annual performance of the Senior Administrators in undertaking their responsibilities and submit it to the Rector’s Office. The Rector will review the reports, discuss it and make his decisions regarding the annual performance appraisal of the Senior Administrators in conducting their regular duties.

b.     Area of Strategic Initiatives:

The Annual Performance Evaluation will be conducted as follows:

1-     The Director of Compliance and Convener of the Strategic Plan Committee will receive monthly Dashboards from the Senior Administrators showing percentages of accomplishments for each Strategic Initiative. The Dashboards are submitted to the Rector’s Office for review and evaluation by the Rector.

2-     The results of monthly evaluations by the Rector are submitted to each Senior Administrator.

3-     By the end of the month of December of the year each Senior Administrator submits a Dashboard showing final percentages of accomplishments of every initiative against target KPIs to the Director of Compliance and Convener of the Strategic Plan Committee. The Dashboards are submitted to the Rector’s Office. The Rector reviews the submitted Dashboards and makes his final annual performance evaluations of the Senior Administrators.
