The submission of a proposal for an undergraduate or graduate degree program constitutes a commitment by PMU that, if the proposal is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, the necessary space, faculty, and financial resources and the criteria and standards for establishing new programs have been met prior to the initiation of the program.


PMU expand its undergraduate and graduate degree program offerings, tracks or certificates to meet local and national needs and demands for trained workforce. This policy provides guidelines and requirements for the academic units to follow in the development of new academic programs.

Procedure :

A pre-proposal should be developed by the academic unit and approved by the Deans Council, University Council and Board of Trustees. Full detailed proposals must meet the Ministry of Higher Education and accreditation national and international criteria and standards. University proposal templates and documents should be prepared as per undergraduate or graduate requirements.
