The PMU Library began as two small scale libraries; one each on the Male and Female campuses.
In November 2008 the Learning Resource Center (LRC) was officially opened.
The LRC building spans both campuses and includes separate libraries for male and female students.
The Library staff is dedicated to helping PMU students, faculty, and staff succeed in learning, teaching, and research.
Our services emphasize working closely with students to develop competency in the use and evaluation of information resources through individualized and group instruction.
The Library’s book, journal, and electronic resources collections reflect the needs of the university curriculum. The Library offers seating for individual and group study. Convenient Wi-Fi service is available throughout the Learning Resource Center. As the world of information becomes increasingly complex – available in more formats, from more sources – libraries are more central to learning that ever before.
