The Deanship of Research and Graduate Studies has organized the first “PMU Research Day” on May 14, 2015. The main target of this event is to build and consolidate a Community of Researchers at PMU and to seed fund them under different categories of internal grants. The University Research Council chaired by the Vice-Rector has received 24 applications from 45 PMU faculty and 19 scholars from outside PMU. The presentations during the Research Day were of high caliber at both the scientific and the potential societal impacts. All the proposals target solving real industrial problems and assisting in shaping the economic, social, and cultural future of the neighboring community of PMU and the whole Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
