A dinner meeting was arranged at Sunset Resort by the American Society for Material (ASM) and Saudi council of Engineers to highlight the future of nuclear energy.  Dean, faculty and Students from the college of engineering represented by ASME-PMU chapter, SPE, and Student Council attended the meeting.  The lecture topics introduced several items:

1. The future of Nuclear energy in Saudi Arabia
2. The fundamentals of the nuclear power generation
3. The history of the nuclear energy for power plants build and commissioned by the French company AREVA
4. The disaster history of the nuclear power plant
5. The safety about the newest fourth generation reactors

Finally the presentation ended by a raffle where some students won valuable prizes followed by a dinner.
