As a club that believes in empowering CE and CS majors; we decided to conduct a workshop titled "Build-a-PC" in order to strengthen the concepts taught in many of the courses, we found that giving students a chance to physically handle PC parts would improve their learning greatly.

So, we conducted the activity on the 22nd of March 2018 for a total duration of 2 hours in order to teach the 16 students who attended the PC building seminar. The first hour was reserved for a basic overview of PC parts and how they interconnect together, this lecture was presented by TechnoHub president Ahmad Alzayer where he spoke about the different PC parts, how they interact together and a brief history of PCs.
The second hour was reserved for actual hands-on experience, where 2 students were responsible to build a PC. Help and guidance were provided by the Treasurer of TechnoHub, Salahudean Tohmeh where he showed off some of the different Intel and AMD architectures as well as several techniques in building PCs easily and efficiently.

Thursday "April 5, 2018"
On Thursday, TechnoHub set up a booth at the far end of the PMU Plaza close to the Main Gate.
At the booth, 5 members of the club including 2 of the founding members were present from 2 pm until 11 pm in order to keep the booth running. The booth housed the famous "Qur’an Kinect for the physically-impaired", as well as 2 PCs set up on the side of the booth with games in order to cater for the children attending the event.
The 2 founding members presented the Kinect project to the best of their abilities while answering some technical questions from several booth visitors. At 10 PM, President Isa AlAnsari paid a visit to the booth and witnessed the Kinect project in action and told the 2 founding members that he was impressed.

Friday "April 6th, 2018"
On Friday, the team began setting up at 2 PM in order to ensure that everything would be running smoothly by 4 PM.

Today, we had a special event planned for the attendees. TechnoHub partnered with a local start-up called "Dar VR" in order to bring Virtual Reality to PMU and introduce this technology to the masses. During that time, we were able to impress the attendees; adults and children alike with this technology. The team kept the booth running until we left the PMU campus at 12 PM.
Everyone attending commented on our booth, saying that it was the most professional club booth around and that they really enjoyed the experience provided by us.
We also provided 3 PCs for the children to enjoy, this kept our booth busy for 90% of the time. The children really enjoyed everything we had to offer.
Overall, we were praised by all other participating booths for our hard work and outstanding booth.
